Your Emails: Now "I" Know

I have never ever liked NORTON ANTI-VIRUS that comes preloaded on computers. It has to be the singal largest pain in the #### always asking for $$$$$ and so intwined into the new computers.



I was telling Jody that I was having trouble with the new e-mail address I had made. She later told me she found my e-mail in the NORTON FOLDER................I said the "what" folder!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!



I sat down and looked and sure enough, the ########### Norton, had been intercepting my e-mails for the past couple of years!!!!!!!!!!!! There were over 1,300+ e-mails and at least 20% of them were not spam, but people asking questions, making orders, etc....................... There were so many and dating back so long, I just deleted the entire file so I can keep check on it daily to see if anything new appears in it.



THIS EXPLAINS why a few people say they never get a response from me, BECAUSE I never saw their e-mail! The ##### Norton chose to trap their e-mail and never bothered to tell me it was doing it. I knew earthlink did such a thing and I made it so it didn't, but had no clue Norton was also blocking e-mails.



Computers in general are one huge pain in the rear and I think most people that buy them, pitch them eventually and only a small percentage actually understand how to use them. Otherwise, I think 95% of the computers used today in the common home is used for e-mails only, because the people have no clue how to do much more with them.



I honestly think the best thing a person can do with a new computer is GUT it the same day you buy it and usually the bad stuff doesn't appear on the reboot, because they won't pay to have it installed except on the fresh loaded computer straight out of the box waiting for their next victim. Every Tom/Dick/Harry/Disney/Norton, etc. ALL have their preloaded crap to lure in customers to commercial interest,



It does really suck that I missed over 1,300 e-mails!
