Re: Mirena IUD Side Effects-Itch from hell!

Hi jules....welcome to the club as you are not alone with those horrible side effects....i was exactly the same...for 6 years and 5 months i had it all until i found this site and had my instinct confirmed that Mirena had caused all my ill health....i had mine remove last thursday and so far so good..all i had was spotting for two days and ublievably my mood swings had gone...i am more of in control with myself unlike before i could imagine myself either in jail or hanging in our garage as i was totally miserable and a person like a monster...my husband even told me that he almost don't know who i am each day as i am just like a different person...could not make a conversation at all and always forgetting even simple words and worst is my short term memory..if someone would introduce theirself to me in a split second i wont remember their name and i am absolutely embarras with myself..but now i always wake up with smile in my face and no more shouting to my daughter and more patient with my husband and in control with my temper . By the way, the week or day i had my mirena removed i had a terrible headache, neck pain and joint pain....all these had gone within two days...bloatedness? it's the 6th day and my tummy is far more flat than the day i had Mirena removed...no diet yet but it just show you the effect or magic what Mirena does us.....about weight i would guess need more time as i had put on a lot...23 lbs....so just had joined the gym but to be honest not had the time yet to go there as my work had become more busy as my energy and confidence had come back to me...befoer i could not motivate myself at all but now i am like on fire to do anything....so will keep you all updated on how i go with this recovery time since Mirena....good luck to you and hope you will see a great change within week (s)...or days....keep us updated..thanks..
