Re: REMOVED AND MUCH BETTER

hello everyone!
i am new to this forum and i thought that i could relate to some of these stories.
i had mirena removed in april after 3 years of madness. my symptoms got worse with each passing year, moody etc.... the last straw was my face. i have never had cystic Acne and well today i have it and can't get control of it. after having done enough research and realizing that there are tons of issues accociated with mirena i had it removed. i also had one IPL treatment to help my face, intense pulsed light, which seemed to clear my face almost immediately. i was back to myself and happy! then all of the sudden things changed. summer and the heat may be to blame? after feeling great for a couple of months, no iud,the Acne returned with a vengence. i can't put my finger on the trigger?
is it because i had my doctor prescribed the emergency contraception pill or "plan b" twice in one month. yes it sounds logical because it's similar to mirena. the hormone level is super high so perhaps this was the trigger. nothing is helping though and the Acne is getting worse. i just bought proactive so maybe this will help it's been two weeks though and hopefully it gets worse before it gets better? i'm starting to scar which is devistating. anyway i guess i'm posting to find out if anyone has had a similar experience with acne clearing then ciming back after removal. i'm happy to hear any words of wisdom. thanks for listening!
