I would say that if you are done having kids (married? boyfriend?) I would have your husband/boyfriend get a vesectomy. It is a very simple process and they are out of work for only the day the procedure is done. There is barely any pain at all. Like getting a cavity filled or stubbing your toe. There is also no side-effects for the man and you will most likely be MUCH happier and so will he.

I feel really bad for all of these women.

I was actually looking here to get information before calling my doctor to get one of these IUDs. I am currently using the Nuva Ring. You insert it yourself, into the vagina, and push it up as far as you can and leave it in for exactly 3 weeks then take it out for exactly 1 week. You do this cycle repeatedly. It was suppose to have VERY little emotional side effects because, sort of like the IUD, the hormones are centralized right there next to the cervix. I am currently on my second cycle and I didn't even have my period the week I was suppose to. And have had no bleeding at all.

While it is a LOT easier than taking the pill and I have noticed a tad less emotional moodiness, it still is taking it's toll on me and my husband's sex life. There isn't one actually!! I am SOOOOO tired of not feeling "in the mood". I don't even like to be touched when on birth control pills, or this nuva ring. It is horrible. And I will now be damned if I go and get one of those semi-permanent IUDs to screw with my body and mind even more.
