I am almost 30 days post Mirena removal and feeling wonderful. The heavy bleeding and clotting lasted a couple of days and was sometimes frightening due to the large clots! It shouldn't last too much longer for you though. I too felt the "fog" lift within 24 hours. It's defintely worth it. In almost a month I've lost most of the pounds gained on this thing.
