Re: Mirena IUD Side Effects missed periods pls help answer my questions

I have had the Mirena for about 8 months, I had my period the first month after I got it but, since then, I haven't actually had a period. I get very minor spotting and that's it. I called my doctor as soon as I missed my first period, that's all I needed right then was to be pregnant again, my baby was about 3 months old, they said there was nothing to worry about. How am I supposed to know if I do get pregnant accidentally, I would never know!!! Don't get me wrong, I don't miss having my period but, they never told me that it would be almost completely gone. I constantly feel tired and completely drained, and I experience HORRIBLE headaches, the kind that you can't do anything at all. I get cramps occasionally, I have never had cramps in my life. They say it is all normal, maybe it is for some people, but not for me. After reading all of the messages here, I'm calling my doctor again tomarrow. THank you for posting your message.
