Re: Mirena IUD- Possible class action lawsuit- please stop by

Hello Tired,

Yes, I have seen many posters complaining about joint pain. It seems to be related to the autoimmune reaction that many of us experience, but who know?....... My rheumatologist theorized drug induced lupus for me, but cant confirm it, because I did not get tested until 6 months post removal.

Watch the steroids. From what I understand, they can exasperate the problems you have in the long run, by weakening your adrenal glands. (I am NOT a doc, though)

There are a few lawyers who have dabbled with the idea of a suit, but I don't think anything has come to fruition with those of us with the less "provable" complaints (aka, almost all of us). Even the women with perforation have a difficult time making a case, since it is on the literature.

Good luck to you, sounds like you are already on the road to recovery.
