Well...its out. It had actually perforated my uterus and was sitting at the bottom of my abdomen. I had to have it surgically removed by going in through my bellybutton. Thankfully the surgery went smoothly. Had there been further complications, it would have been a much more invasive surgery, much like a C-Section. My doctor said the likelihood of this happening to someone is 1 in 1000. Fun! I just should have played the lottery. :) Needless to say, I do not recommend to anyone that they even consider an IUD. This was a nightmarish experience from beginning to end. They actually were able to tie my tubes during the same procedure. I guess my birth control method is solved. Thanks for the responses!
