I had the mirena put in 3 mo ago and have been uncomfortable about since. At first I had heavy bleeding for 2mo straight! I was changing the super tampon almost every 30min to an hour! Not only was the bleeding bad but I also had really bad cramping and backaches, I felt like I was in labor all over again. I've also had REALLY bad nausea and dizziness, I had to take a pregnancy test just to make sure because with my son I felt the same...nausea day and night. I just made an appointment to have it removed and I know that they're going to try and convince me that I should keep it in and that it's not the IUD, I wasn't going to get it in in the first place but they talked me in to trying it. I know that it's the IUD and for peace of mind I'm going to get it taken out no matter what, I've never had simptoms like this before (except in pregnancy), so it has to be the mirena. Hopefully all will go smoothly. If you get pregnant with the mirena what are the possibilities of the baby being fine? Does anyone know?
