Well interesting-I was told what a wonder thing Mirena is for my chronic bleeding problems. Well I had it inserted last year and things were fine... until June when I started getting rashes and an itchiness around my vaginal area-it was unbelievable. I have been tested for fungal, bacterial you name it infections with all negative results. FInally my gynae is now suspecting the Mirena as the culprit. Wonder whether anyone else has experienced this. It itches like mad and then of course after you scratch, it all gets tender, painful and sore and stinging-can't start to describe the havoc this is causing to our love life. So I have until next week by when if things do not improve-the Mirena comes out. Anyone had the experience? Vani
