My machine is so noisy that we can't tolerated it. I have tried to contact Ellis about this. Their phone is busy and they don't respond to faxes.
They state they have a Warranty, but there is a minimum charge apparently of $65 plus shipping for that.
It is truly a poorly designed product. When they did respond to my initial fax where I told them how unhappy i was with the design. They said that it is not about design, but about water and hundreds of thousands of machines have been shipped with no complaints. They said in fact that the U.S. Navy wouldn't go to the recent Iraq war without having these on their ships.
True BS. If you purchase from these guys, you will most likely be wasting you $$. They also say if you leave water outside it wont turn Green. I took tap water in one conatiner and placed Ellis water in an identical container side by side and the Ellis water turned Green much faster(three days) than the tap water (9 days).
