I bought a machine from John E. due to an ad in Newsmax. I spoke with Ellis beforehand and all he did was talk in circles and kept asking for my Credit Card number. He had so much business that he only had time to take orders. Should have known at that point that this was most likely a SCAM. I did order and my mackine arrived a couple weeks later. At first glance I thought it must be a joke because the design looks like an engineer with 5 hours as an engineer, not 50 like Ellis personally claims, designed this thing. There were pieces missing and it would not function until I re-ran a direct line from my ice maker line. It also made so much racket, and vibrated so bad, I had to mention this when I spoke to a guy named Phil at Ellis' phone number when I asked for the missing parts. He said his also vibrates so bad that he can't use it in his retirement home condo because of the complaints due to the noise. He said to just leave the cover off and there won't be any noise. What's the point of paying so much money and then having to leave supposedly required pieces off due to the poor engineering.
Since I can never get in touch with them on the phone anymore, I sent a fax after 4 weeks of not receiving my promised parts and literature. Someone named Carl (VP), responding to my fax, finally sent my missing parts and a letter explining that they will eventually re-dessign the cover due to problems. (Continued)
