Re: !!BEWARE!! Crystal C. Energized Water machine and John E. !! Beware of this machine!!
I have had one of these machines for some where around 30 yrs. I paid $350 for it which I thought was high then. This unit could be made today easily for $200. It's just a pot with ball shape attachment with a couple heaters, a fan lid and a light bulb. But a man has the right to charge anything he wants.
The only testing I have ever did was 25 yr ago. I put leaves from the same plant into Ellis water and tap water. The Ellis water leaves swelled up 50% more than the tap water over nite.
The service to get parts were good, one heater I broke by turning it on and it got hot then I added cold water and broke it. I also got some clips and now a new ring clamp and a new fan top. That's all I have done in 30 yrs.
I do take it all apart to clean it when the water production rate slows down. I use vinegar.
The water will taste a little poorly when the machine is 1st used for a little while because of the new heating elements have to get conditioned. This happened when I bought the machine and when I got a new heating plate.
I've used it at least 80% of the time since I got it. I'm pain and disease free at 62 and feel 21 but have done other stuff like raw food sometimes, eating organic last 15 yr., herbs when ill, raw dairy, some fasting and deprenyl for 20 yr. I had gotten a swollen prostate 6 yr ago and used herbs for it and now sleep all night but I urinate slowly. But I have also drank heavily almost daily for 36 out of last 40 yrs. but not now so maybe the water helped protect me and it would have been worse with out it.
I think it was worth it just to have a small, portable water distilling machine that is very dependable when taken care of.
I mounted mine in the bathroom on a shelf and have connected electricity and water lines to it. I then feed it in a glass 5 gal bottle which I run a line from and pump it to a tap in my kitchen and my ice maker. So all I have to do to make water is turn a small valve and throw a switch and clean it every 6 months.
Everybody's always been nice to me at Crystal Clear but I have heard horror stories about Ellis for 30 yrs. The man has no proper concept on how to run a business or a website. All he has to do is be pleasant with returns, higher a pro web site maker that has a good rep, reduce the price to $300 or so by volume production and really make money helping many more people get the machine. A "no question" 1 year money back warranty is a must. It's a good distiller. Also a yearly untouched current youtube video of himself showing his so called strength and anti aging effects. Maybe getting free publicity like what Jack Lalanne did every year. Never to late to improve. Good luck Ellis.
