To be fair, the original guy who complained wanted it to keep his pool and spa clear but it apparently did not work for him. I do not know anything except the basics about science. If a claim is made about permanently clearing the water in your pool, spa or well, then that is what I would expect.

I have one of the older living water machines and I have never tried it for anything other than drinking. The machine is not plug and play, it does take some tweaking to get the output correct. But when it is putting out correctly, it is the best tasting water I have ever drank. When I first start the machine, it takes me about 30 to 45 minutes to get the output runnin right. But when I do, and test the water on a TDS meter, it always reads 000 . My tap water constantly reads 065.

We plan on getting a pool this year and I will try some of the water in it to see if this will work and report bac in a few months on taht. Mine does not have the ozone bulb on it. But when I got mine, the website still mentioned it would keep water clean without added chemicals. We will see.
