--Testimonials--Reduce Proteins at nite = Less Acidity--
By JohnnySmith,
This makes a lot of sense at least for what I have seen in my case. I usually
get a major acid spike as per my saliva and urine PH if I eat anything with
protein for supper, this does not seem to happen if I have some protein for
breakfast or lunch. I find that if I consume vegetable broth, cabbage, or
cauliflower for supper, I get a good alkaline reading for my saliva and urine as
per my PH strip readings taken 3-4 hours after eating. IMHO, although I know
some may disagree, for me(anyway) this is a good sign and confirms that protein
should be avoided for supper and it may be best to make vegetables/vegetable
broth the mainstay for supper. Of course, I know everybody is different and
people have to experiment what works best for them. As a side note, I am finding
that Cabbage and Cauliflower seem to give me the highest urine and saliva
alkaline readings regardless of when I eat them, so I am definitely making
cauliflower and cabbage part of my diet in my battle with acidity.
