--Testimonials--Getting Better--Blood Sugars--
Hi Moreless,
Things going very well at the moment - have been using sprouted beans as you
suggested and digestion much better. Also have found through sprouting that
quinoa supply not as good as should be!
I still have not bought refractometer yet but as unable to grow my own veg yet
and restricted to fruit and veg suppliers there doesn't seem much point - I have
to make do.
I have slight sugar drops reacting to poor quality fruit and occasional drops
for unknown reasons. I have found that the dried fruit does not really help in
any way as I react to that too, but rapadura seems ok.
You mention on your site making bran buns. Would it be acceptable to make
biscuits using bran, rapadura and small amount butter so I can fix blood sugar
on the go? I see that bran is slightly acidic but very nutritius if milled the
same day. My fat digestion (for the butter) is much improved these days. Would
the acidity of the bran drop my sugar again? If so perhaps simply drinking
rapadura dissolved in water -or would that hit my blood stream too fast as the
hypo web sites tell us?
I think the key for me is trying to cope with hypo for as long as it takes for
my body to heal. I am feeling a great deal better even now and am very excited
at things to come! Have lots of energy and can't wait to get out there and start
digging!
Thanks a bunch!
