Hi wanderlust,
You can find the Natural Healing Forum here: curezone.com/forums/f.asp.
You can read all about the complete colon cleanse here: [FAQ] Healing Cleanse: Colon....Working File Thread and the parasite cleanse here: [FAQ] Healing Cleanse: Parasites....Working File Thread.
Iolite is right, if you feel like you've got parasites the time to do a parasite cleanse is while you're doing at least a 30 day colon cleanse.
Blessings,
Willow
Thanks so much for your quick reply. I really appreciate it. I will check out the supplements you recommended. I think you're right about the inflammed bowel too, I remember reading that a while ago.
Yucca root or licorice root are steroidal anti-inflammatories that are great for reducing intestinal inflammation. Both yucca and licorice support the adrenals as well that produce the body's own anti-inflammatories among their many other functions. These herbs also help with building up the flora I mentioned earlier.
Since my post, I was able to have a couple bowel movements ( I guess the castor oil kicked in) but now I have a hemorrhoid. I'm going to get some Rutin since I heard that helps.
Yes, rutin helps to strengthen blood vessel walls. Silica, vitamin c sources and gotu kola also help a lot. These work by increasing collagen and elastin in the blood vessels. Butcher's broom helps by supplying silica and by contracting the superficial blood vessels.
Yes, colonoscopy reaches almost entire colon.
But no need to to be worried because it is one of the simplest procedure. A long thin pipe containing video camera is placed into colon and small intestine through anus, even sometimes anesthesia medicine is not used during the procedure so patient may awake during the time. The process is little bit uncomfortable so you need to choose best colonoscopy doctor wisely.
Don't worry for coloscopy.
Well put Hv. Do you prefer kefir over sauerkraut/fermented veggies for jumpstarting the flora. Or Do both have about the same amount of benefits for our flora?
Well put Hv.
Thanks.

All the cultured foods have the benefits. I simply prefer the taste of kefirs myself.
For the long term I really prefer prebiotics over probiotic sources. There are thousands of beneficial strains of flora and even cultured foods only provide a tiny fraction of these. Prebiotics feed all the strains restoring their numbers.
I need to clarify something here so my last statement makes more sense. Antibiotic therapy does not kill all the flora. There will always be some survivors from the different strains. It is these survivors that will be fed and will regrow in large numbers if properly fed.
