HELP!! BENTONITE Clay/Psyllium has caused me EXTREME constipation :(

Hi guys, I have been a longtime lurker but I thought I might make a post and finally ask for help. Thanks for taking the time to read this.

In late september of '09 I decided that I wanted to Bowel Cleanse to eventually do a Liver Flush down the road....so I bought Sonnes #7 (bentonite clay) and organic psyllium husk by organic india. I took LESS than the recommended dose just to start out slow, maybe a teaspoon of both, once, for a couple days. I made sure to drink PLENTY of water trust me...but nevertheless I felt myself immediately get plugged up and I couldn't go for SEVERAL days after that. I stopped taking bentonite/psyllium right then.

Once I was able to relieve myself after that horror show of constipation, my poop floated, and was slightly lighter colored if I remember correctly. Up until about a few weeks ago, my poop continuted to float (steatorrhea-not digesting fat properly), I had pencil like stools at times, sometimes light colored, sometimes very dark colored, sometimes my poop had no form at all, and generally just constipated. Like, after I would go, I would still feel like I had more left in me.

It's almost like I lost my ability for peristalsis; AND my bile flow is blocked from the Bentonite clay I presume.

I never had a problem with floating stools or constipation before I took this Bentonite clay/psyllium. I was very regular. Btw, even when I tried psyllium alone I'd got constipated. Now I presume this Bentonite clay is cemented on the walls of my intestines.


So since october of last year, I've tried everything. I've tried SWF, doesn't do much. I've tried enema's, I can barely hold the water in for more than 20 seconds. I've had 3 colonics but can't last more than 10 minutes because of the pain and discomfort. I swear there is something blocking me up there. I even tried Oxypowder , which didn't do much either.

A month and a half ago I discovered Dr. Christopher's lower bowel formula/lbb capsules. People swore by it so I decided to give it a shot. Turns out it gave me a little relief and made me regular. My poop still floated most of the time but it had better form so I figured lbb was doing its work...

***BUT (this is what i need help with!)..since last week I started becoming less regular and my poop was more formless when it hit the water or short and pencil like. Then from a few days ago I have been MORE CONSTIPATED than I ever have been in a long time. I have not emptied my bowel in 3-4 days!! Dr. Christophers lbb is not helping and I even took CASTOR OIL this morning, 3 TBSP which hasn't done anything! I think what made it bad was eating a lot of bread a few days ago..but eitherway I gotta find something to get me relief!

Please help...

A summary about me:
Early 20's guy, healthy diet, no fast food, no soda, eat almost everything organic. 4 servings of fruit a day. Eat meat but not in excess. Drink plenty of water (8-10 glasses/day). Never had these problems with constipation before bentonite. Now, after last september, if I eat a lot of grains/pasta/rice/bread it constipates me.

What doesn't help my constipation: prunes/prune juice, SWF, Oxypowder , castor oil (as of today), and dr. christopher's lbb (as of last week)

My thoughts are that my liver is blocked by this bentonite clay not allowing the bile to flow into my intestines, plus its cemented in my intestines slowing peristalsis as well. Any thoughts?? Let this be a warning to anyone thinking of trying bentonite, THINK TWICE!!

Anyway..would appreciate any suggestions on getting some relief of this constipation ..what do I do?
