DO EVERYTHING YOU CAN TO AVOID A CHOLECYSTECTOMY

My life will never be the same as it was before having my gall bladder removed, and I wish I'd known before what I know now. My doctor assured me
that the gall bladder is just an unnecessary "storage tank" and that my life would be the same without. I wonder how he'd like having to live
his life close to a commode. I used to love going on long hikes, camping, swimming at the lake, etc. Try doing those things without a gall bladder.
I am very concerned that the amount of undigested food I pass will eventually lead to nutritional deficiencies and other complications. I worry about the
dehydration from chronic diarreah, and I know I'm at a much higher risk now for colon cancer. My grandmother died in her late 60s from colon cancer, and she had
a cholecystectomy in her 30s. Without that NECESSARY "storage tank," bile is continually leaking into the small intestine where it causes diarreah and can lead to
colon cancer. My grandmother and my mother both lived for years with chronic diarreah, and now I do as well. It makes me sick to know that this could have
been avoided.

Please read these links, and do whatever you can to avoid having your gall bladder removed if you're suffering from gall bladder attacks. Cut way back on the spicey and fatty
foods, and take 2 Tbls. of finely ground flax seeds in the morning and at night with juice, yogurt, or something. Drink hot water with the juice from a lemon before eating in the morning.
This alone helps to break down bile acids. Drink pure, ORGANIC apple cider. Or do any of the suggested flushes. Magnesium can also stop the muscle spasms, and peppermint tea
acts as an anti-spasmotic as well. I even read where some doctors are using aspirin (white willow bark is the original aspirin) to break up the stones, and sound waves have been used as well.

Here are a few helpful links. I want to help others avoid the mistakes I've made. Be sure to get plenty of fiber (fruits, veggies, flax seeds, beans, nuts, etc.).

Best wishes!

Lisa
