Hi I had my gallbladder removed over 5 years and I am still having problems. I am still having attacks till this day. I went to the Dr. who discovered I had gallstones. I told he all of my problems and he then tell me I have IBS.
He tells me this without doing any futher tests. When I guess it is my fault for suffering for this long. I should have gotten a second opinion along time ago. I just changed to a different Dr. he ran blood tests when I wasn't hurting and just the other day when I was hurting. the test showed my Liver enzymes were high. So now I have to have surgery again. My new Dr. says it is either one of two things. 1.)My muscles by the liver is having spasms. or 2.) When they removed my gallbladder they left a stone in my bile duct. And this is what the Dr. thinks is my problem. I have a MRI Mon. morning 2/9/04.
I hope this might help someone else.
