not to get all excited about diarreah, but you guys absolutely rock! my gallbladder got all discombobulated about 8 years ago (20 yrs old, male, heavy smoker), went through the usual "it's just ulcers" phase, "let's do 5 barium GIs" phase, "how bout a colonoscopy?" phase, "gee, we can't seem to figure this out" phase (i really, really didn't fit the profile of someone who should have Gallstones aparently), until i finally got the proper diagnosis, when my case was life threateningly advanced.

infection, high fever, basic digestive failure.

about 3 weeks after i had the procedure done, i got the after meal diarrhea about 5 days a week. totally annoying and socially incapacitating. i'm glad to know its not just me, the only people i know who've had the procedure are mostly older women and men, who wouldn't dream about discussing their bowel problems with anyone.

anyway, i did some poking around, and here's a link with some more info about the cause.
