Im 15 years old from Cardiff in Wales (UK) and I had my galbladder out in feb 2003 and It's made my life a hell of alot better. I would be in pain for up to 72 hours at times and come on a little diarrhoea is hell of a lot better than being in pain, if you thought this much about having a little operation to remoce your galbladder what would you be like if you had to have a heeart transplant or somethinf, stop being so pathetic and think of the positive sides to having it out. If you have them non-sugically removed then they are always going to come back. You can live without your galbladder, if you couldnt they wouldnt do the op. I have 4 little tiny scares that are hardly noticeable, I only had 4 weeks off school instead of 4 months, stop thinking so negative. Im fine and everyting in life has consiquences if you all live in fear then whats the point in living at all !!!!!!!!!

You have to expeirence things for yourself to know what really happens. If you take care of yourself after the operation and watch what you eat and moderate your exercise you'll be fine!
