As I said, revisionist history, which is actually a considerable stretch as a description of what you're telling us here, is so much more fun than the written record. But yeah, if it's all the same to you, I think I'll stick to revealed truth as my primary guide to redemptive history.

But next time I'm looking for a good bedtime story, I'll be sure to look this one up again. You should write a book you know. Fascinating stuff. And if others find your 'version' more convincing, they are of course at liberty to embrace it. But I'm really honored that you feel able to reveal something you have hitherto kept to yourself.
