Raw foods

Hiya Chris! Just wanted to let you know though that a raw food diet is not for everyone. I was doing about 80% raw foods and found myself getting weaker. My naturopathic dr told me that I needed to eat some warm foods cause my stomach has gotten too cold with all the raw foods. I shifted to having some soups and ate fish once a week. I immediately felt better!

I think the most important thing is to observe how one feels in any kind of diet. Our bodies are all different. Sometimes, eating raw is beneficial short term but long term becomes detrimental. It just really depends on the individual.

And I have also found that getting too concerned with our diet also adds stress and thus a negative effect on our health. So nowadays, I take it easy, make sure that I eat healthy (am about 50% raw now), explore other venues to better health ... like yoga or visualization or actually... just being happy about life !!!!

BTW ... I had cancer about 5 yrs. ago. My husband died of cancer about 7 yrs. ago. And we both did alternative medicine.

I praise God for all the challenges He has given me. I do know that it has been a great learning process for me.
