Yes ma'am

Wheat is only native to the Tigris/Euphrates area. When man discovered how easily it grew...it spread worldwide in record speed.

Then man discovered the protein called gluten, and how well it worked in baked goods, and took all the good vitamins and fiber out.

Then man discovered how profitable wheat was -

Heck, Trysten, I remember reading in the "Little House on the Prairie" books how "spoiled" Laura Ingalls was when she missed her "beloved WHITE flour" when they had to grind their OWN wheat by hand and eat BROWN bread! {{{ohhhh, HORRORS!}}}

I thought to myself - my god, how long HAVE we been ingesting this CRAP?

There are SO many choices...it's just that we have been given ONE.

think about it

We truly should think about eating seasonally. What's available (and native) to OUR land, and in WHAT season? What did God (or 'mother nature' if one prefers) provide for us naturally? It boggles the mind...

I really should go...I don't want my child to grow up to hate me for being on the computer too much! lol

Love you kiddo!
