control/discipline
I don't know how safe a solo trip to Thailand is for a young girl. Of course you don't have to think about consequences for anything if your default is always suicide.
I know a few women a little older than you who live for primal desires (sex, food, drugs/alcohol). They were never taught discipline while growing up and thus never learned how to discipline themselves later on in life. They are now paying the price with long term mental and physical diseases, money and moral issues... some permanent. You are headed in this direction. Listen to Trapper about the discipline. We older (a decade or two) folk know what we are talking about because discipline is universal, sorry you're not special in this regard so it will work for you just like everyone else.
Your need for approval, acceptance and attention from others shows your lack of self control and need for discipline. Discipline builds internal value, self worth, and above all control. Right now you are giving other people in your life that control.
***The problem with giving up self-control (discipline) is: If you don't control yourself someone else will. Your true friends will not want to assume that control and it will burden them, and anyone who does want to control you is NOT your friend and you will enable them to harm you. Please understand this above all.***
Giving up control also means that you don't have to make choices and are not responsible for your failures. The Alcohol/drugs/sex is just another way to lose control over your life.
You don't need religion to be disciplined.
