Re: Get a grip on yourself 79513. (EDITED)

>i really don't mind confrontation from you my friend, in fact without it would weaken our resolve and we would accomplish nothing between us.

>you say that we all have 'tasks' to carry out, what do you mean by that?

I have always felt compelled to help those around me whenever I could. Remaining silent when I know an outrage is being committed is simply unfathomable to me.

>{Mine is to keep the ultimate voice against those who would take our freedom.}

>can you enlarge on that?, as i interpret that as 'carrying the fight for the downtrodden man'

I'm a great believer of the common man. I don't like the idea of class, and if I had my choice, there would not be such disparities in wealth, because I believe it to be one of the biggest reasons we are in the mess we're end.

>#79513,(have you a username?)

>please tell me, why do you quote from the bible? yes we are asked to swear upon it for many things to perhaps extract the truth, make a vow etc. yet people tell lies when confronted by justice, divorce their spouse etc. which makes it ineffectual

>in many cases.

I personally am a believer, but you could say that I believe in a different timeframe from your Biblical timeline. I quote from the Bible, because quite frankly, the churches have outlived their usefullness. In the end times, those churches, referred in one reference as the "Synagogue of Satan," have their destiny in being rightly denounced as being false. Therefore, they need to be demo'd spiritually. If they had not truly strayed from their devotion to the Bible, which most certainly includes the Christian marriage, I would certainly not be here.

>i think you (at times) take things too literally that you beat yourself up with.

The Bible has been preached literally for centuries. It has only been since I have started to preach scripture literally also, that I get the threads of thought that maybe it shouldn't be thought of literally any longer. The primary reason believers are freed from the contraints of the Covenant is that it is the task of the believer to ultimately destroy the false church - called the Great Whore, Satan, Babylon, etc.

>i'm not going to ask you to be more positive for i find that patronising, but i was told a long time ago to lighten-up, which i first of all took exception to, but realised in time that i had enough of my own problems to deal with. after a while i started smiling again and felt better about myself,much of what i was 'concerned with' i let go. it's not up to me to put the 'world to rights',it's up to all of us.

I was surprised since I started writing here. Until now, I had encountered hardly any opposition. I had even composed snail mail to what are considered heavyweights amongst the church community.

>#79513, i speak only from my experiences, you speak from yours, we share each other's, i hope from that we both learn from each others.

>i respect people that i trust, i have no enemies as i don't regard people in that way.

>i,ve been along your path mate, i wish it on no-one but i know you will get through it as i did, so smile,let go, and take that vacation with your family, love always, tomi.

For my part, if I have no enemies, I've obviously been lazy or else taken the day off. But thank you though.
