The simple fact is women do NOT deserve to be called whores because we choose to go out and work. Whether this world is a better place now then it was before is a completely separate issue. This world is falling apart for many reasons, most of which are way more prevalent then women going to work. Men have a great responsibility in that area, if many of you would wake up and take responsibility for your families then there would be less women out there struggling to do it on their own. There are many more families growing up without fathers then there are growing up without mothers. That has a huge affect on society.

I personally would rather be a stay at home mom where I could take care of my children and my house. I like the traditional way of life we seem to have lost. Some women do not want that way of life and that is their choice and fine with me. The simple truth and reality is that women really do not have much choice anymore. Many households cannot afford for the mom to stay home...it is too expensive to survive in society today. We just can't win...wives stay at home and men complain that they don't do anything or that the men have to do everything (I work in a lab full of men and i have heard it from many)...so we go out and work to provide for our families and we get called whores by guys like you. Seems unfair don't you think. Maybe you should take the sand from your eyes. It's not easy for many women...contrary to what 79513 says...we all do not lay around waiting for the money to come in with our legs spread open. We work 2 full time jobs...one at our regular 9-5 job and then another one when we get home and have to cook, clean and take care of our families. It's not easy but it is what it is and I think many do it with grace and are happy. Women bare a greater responsibility now then we every did...so for all the men who think we are all Great Whores, take another look around.
