Good to look at is reasons some metabolize fats different or better than others.

One important factor is pantoghenic acid vit. B5, which is necessary for the body to make Coenzyme A which is a key player in fatty acid metabolism, and synthesis. Those deficient in B5 is a reason why different people "appear" to metabolize fats differently.

Other factors also, example delta 6 desaturase enzyme for converting linoleic into g-linolenic acid, many middle age people lack nutrients needed for that enzyme, and they appear to age faster. Have to look at all factors in fatty acid metabolism, I gave two for a starter
