taking to much Iodine inhibits thyroid function ,when i was hyperthyroid i used Iodine to make me more relaxed when i was to hyper. After those months of to much Iodine you became hypothyroid it wil take years to recover from that without thyroid medicine 1 mg iodine can even be to much probably
