Re: GAS model outdated and inaccurate...
Answering both of you, that's the main question and the only real difference I think in our beliefs, do the adrenals "gas out" like the pancreas can from overuse?
You guys know my position as I believe along with the medical community that the adrenal can not. The evidence that convinces me of that are "AF" symptoms coincidentally being the same as starvation, most in the AF section under-eat, Dr. Lam admitting way more women are "diagnosed" consistent because way more women under-eat, even Dr. L. Wilson most likely under-eat when being vegan, most people have high cortisol, and I'd also argue there's a relatively low success rate from the "AF" protocols which is more proof to me that people are unfortunately trying to treat a phantom condition. Doesn't mean people aren't sick or anything like that. Just misdiagnosed with a made-up condition spun off of GAS.
My hope is that even if our beliefs about "AF" being real or not doesn't change, more people will acknowledge under-eating is a problem, just as serious of a problem if not more, and longer time members will be sure to ask noobs coming here seeking help to double check if that might be one of their problems.
I only see it being asked very infrequently, I'm afraid.
