Re: GAS model outdated and inaccurate...

"I often ponder how people are coming to the AF diagnosis."

Well I was told I had it by several alternative practitioners and since I blindly believed in holistic medicine and they had fancy degrees, I never thought to question it. I thought is was weird when one MD I saw said he didn't even know what "AF" was! Not it all makes sense lol.

One question I've always had though, where does one go to get the "official" symptoms list of so-called "AF"? Each site that promotes "AF" don't all list the same symptoms, very much like the other condition of "chronic candida" that alternative med promotes and I think is BS. Every site lists different symptoms and that's the problem with these "internet diseases" as the Endocrine association so eloquently puts it.

That's the problem with alternative medicine, they can just make up whatever they want.

"Others have opted for tests like salivary testing."

I had that done and showed my cortisol all up and down throughout the day, but again I never thought to question why my cortisol showed higher than normal at times if my adrenal glands were supposedly too "fatigued" to produce even normal levels.
