Re: GAS model outdated and inaccurate...

See, it sounds like you're trying to downplay under-eating when almost all in the AF section are under-eating. So many stressors out there you say can cause "AF", yet coincidentally almost every here complaining of "AF" has the stressor of under-eating. Even if only a small percentage of people here were under-eating, how come so few of you are warning them about their under-eating that you agree is contributing to their illness?

That kind of downplaying actually supports my evidence because denial is a big part of under-eating/eating disorders. It's also probably a big reason I get so much flak around here.

I'm not saying GAS isn't an excepted explanation of the pathology of stress or there aren't other forms of stress besides starvation, but none of that proves that the adrenal glands "fatigue" when the body is under great stress. That's the premise of the argument. Even the Naturopath in that article is agreeing with me (and medical science) that stress doesn't fatigue the adrenals.

I'd like to hear your opinion as to why the medical community dismisses "Adrenal Fatigue" instead of saying that's just the nickname given to GAS by holistic doctors.
