Actually, a telepath is someone who picks up thoughts, like a mind reader they know what you're *thinking*.

OOhh, cool that you could *see* typed letters! Oh, everyone picks up things slightly differently, so it's perfectly natural, just not common. But then, none of us are just "common" are we? =)

I can't think of any good books off the top of my head, I just sort of picked things up along the way. Hopefully someone else can help you out. But, oh, yes, they can *definitely* be developed! Just think of it as learning any thing new, like riding a bike or dancing. At first it seems a little awkward, but once you get the hang of it, you never forget. =)
