Grizz, I was reading the SilverEdge website and it says that nebulizing silver is highly experimental and it could be dangerous according to some animal experiments. It suggests using only temporarily such as infections etc.
But as I read you have used for quite a while with no ill effects. Do you have more information about people that use long term for asthma, please.
thank you
Bless your heart Uly. I offer you my deepest and most heartfelt condolensces.
Yes, a person's hearing is the last thing to go. And yes, one can hear everything going on around them when they are unconscious. I personally experienced this when I was in a coma for a day and a half in November of 2005.
Regardless of what we do to care for a loved one, upon their departure, it is normal to feel that we have not done enough. I did the very same thing upon my mother's death and I still carry some guilt as to what I could have, should have done. Maybe....... just maybe.......... The thing is we did all we could and we did it with all the love in our hearts. Realistically, we could have done no more. Whether you told her you loved her or not, she knew of your love for her. You would not have cared for her in the way you did if you did not love her. Love is just not words, its actions. In fact, actions speak louder than words.
As to what went on with the paramedics. sigh....... I went through several experiences where doctors did not make the right call and I knew enough of the condition where I had to confront them and insist on the right protocol. Keep in mind that back then I knew nothing with regard to natural healing, so I did the best I could. Even then, doctors were negligent informing me at times that her breathing was fine when I knew for a fact that it was not. My mom also died because of COPD. In my opinion, the paramedics should not have carried her, especially if she had serious congestion going on. Where was the gurney? And we will never know what went on in the ambulance. My own mother died because of the negligence of aids bathing her. After I had specifically told them to leave her in bed, when I went to the kitchen to prepare a breathing treatment they carried her to the bathroom and this caused an immediate massive heart attack that took her life.
It is true that a viral infection is very dangerous to a person with COPD. Yet, her catching the virus from you was not your fault. It is just life. You did all you could.
Uly, your mom is not gone, she was reborn into another life. Furthermore, she knows how much you love her. Death does not break the bonds of love.
I hope that you are able to locate the missing documents, but please bear in mind that this has no bearing on her. No matter what goes on in this plane, she is at peace.
Please do not lose faith in natural healing, as it does work. You just have to discover what works for you. Keep in mind, you have been and are still under a lot of emotional stress and this affects our physical bodies. I always say, if the emotional root of the problem is not resolved, no matter what we do, we will not realize total healing. You are only 34 years old, you have your whole life ahead of you. If it makes you feel any better, my thirty's was the worst time of my life. I suffered from chronic fatigue, anxiety, panic and I thought I would never get well. For me, it took quite a few years but I did achieve total healing. In my case, the basis for these health problems was emotional. Yes, and with these conditions very often a conventional doctor cannot find a thing wrong with you. Very frustrating.
With regard to your worries, try not to project. This can result in "what if" thinking and "what if's" seldom materialize. Take everything one day at a time. There are always solutions. Can you stay with your sister until you are on your feet, or can you get some type of government assistance? Ask around, investigate, there are always solutions.
I know that life seems hopeless right now, but I promise you it's not. Just take everything one step at a time. And take time out to grieve. This is a part of healing.
I sincerely hope I have been able to lift at least part of the burden in your heart.
I wish you my very best,
Luella

(Silver Bulletin e-News Magazine) Part 1. COPD, which stands for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, is a lung disease characterized by progressive airflow limitations where sufferers of the disease are increasingly unable to take in and absorb enough oxygen. Millions of people suffer from COPD and when it is treated by mainstream medicine, the progression of the disease can be managed and slowed down, but it cannot be completely halted or reversed and the disease will ultimately become fatal. Fortunately for those who look outside mainstream medicine, nature may offer a different outcome.

We use five parts colloidal silver to one part lobelia extract (5 ml to 1 ml) and breath through the nebulizer until it is gone. Mullein might also make a good addition (1 part, or 1 ml). I urge you to try a Chinese herbal formula supplement called ClearLungs Extra Strength. We have had wonderful results with the combination of nebulizing as described above two or three times a day and taking the ClearLungs supplement. We also take colloidal silver orally if we feel a bug coming on or if one is going around.
You might want to start off with half the amounts above and work your way up to the full amounts if you feel too much fluid accumulating in the lungs. I predict that you will be pleased with your results (and let us know how it turns out if you do give the suggestions a try).
You can see all the herbs in the ClearLungs supplement and what they do here:

Should you decide to buy from CureZone sponsor Utopia Silver be sure to use the group discount code of LR001 if the supplement is not on sale at the time to get 15% off. You might find an even better price at iherb.com, but last week when I checked they were out of stock.
I also suggest you take a look at this article:

Congratulations. I don't think that the strength is critical. I use the 20 PPM Advanced Colloidal Silver. A good home brew should work fine for nebulizing. More than 20 PPM is overkill and anything less and I use 5 ml in combo with 1 ml of lobelia extract per breathing treatment. You can just use a bit more often. As far as how long to continue goes, I would say to continue doing the nebulizing once daily for a week and then perhaps cut back to every once in awhile. And don't neglect the oral silver solution use either, when needed. I personally do not take silver orally except when I think there is a need.
I look forward to your post about the mouth cancer in cats. I may well want to share it with our pets group. Colloidal silver, properly made oleander extract (or oleander supplement) and inositol/IP6 have been an effective combo for many cats, dogs and other fur-friends.
BTW, you weren't dumb. There are lots of things you can take orally that might not be wise to breath. Silver just isn't one of them.
All the best,
DQ (Tony)
No, do NOT use saline solution with colloidal/ionic silver. Silver plus salt is not a good combination - unless you want to join the Smurffs. Actually, it would take a lot of repeated use of silver plus salt but that is what happened with the infamous blue man "Papa Smurff" Karason, who got paraded all over the country as an example of silver turning people blue - he made his own colloidal silver with tap water, added salt to it and drank over a quart a day for months on end. He also applied it to his face.
No need to dilute it at all. Silver solution by itself works great. Adding 1 part lobelia extract and 1 part mullein extract to 5 parts silver solution works even better.
Recently my emphysema has become worse. I could take my medicine and work around the house but not now, seems like over night I went to a new level with this disease.I have been reading the different posts lately on this site and decided to use the nebulizer with hydrogen peroxide and the silver.
The question I have is what should I do first and for how long?
Neither one is really going to really treat your emphysema. Emphysema results from a loss of elastin in the tissue so the alveoli stretch and stay stretched. The elastin can be restored over time with silica supplements, vitamin C sources (preferably natural) and herbs such as gotu kola, plantain leaf and boneset (Eupatorium).
If you are simply trying to clean the lungs out then I would go with diluted food grade hydrogen peroxide. Food grade is 35% peroxide so it needs to be diluted before use. Start by adding one ounce of the peroxide to 11 ounces of distilled water to make a 3% solution. Then you would add 5-10 drops of this to your nebulizer filled with water. I recommend doing this several times daily to help keep infections at bay and to help promote healing. Peroxides are generated by the body for a number of reasons including for the destruction of pathogens, activation of white blood cells that fight infection, destroying cancer cells, etc. But the peroxide does not need to be concentrated to perform these functions.
Hi Hver,
I have been looking into what causes the elastin in the lungs to breakdown and Alpha-1 Anti-trypsin seems to be a possible problem. It is made by liver to block trypsin and protect the lungs, but if the liver is clogged from too many liver stones (from carbs and gmo's), it may not supply the trypsin inhibitor.
Has anyone with emphysema ever completely flushed their liver?
I know that silica is good for the bones, but didn't know it could repair lung tissues.

Also, here is a research article showing lowcarb diet improves copd.
Abstract
Objective:
One of the goals in treating patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) who suffer from hypoxemia, hypercapnia, and malnutrition is to correct the malnutrition without increasing the respiratory quotient and minimize the production of carbon dioxide. This 3-wk study evaluated the efficacy of feeding a high-fat, low-carbohydrate (CHO) nutritional supplement as opposed to a high-carbohydrate diet in COPD patients on parameters of pulmonary function.
Methods
Sixty COPD patients with low body weight (<90% ideal body weight) were randomized to the control group, which received dietary counseling for a high-CHO diet (15% protein, 20% to 30% fat, and 60% to 70% CHO), or the experimental group, which received two to three cans (237 mL/can) of a high-fat, low-CHO oral supplement (16.7% protein, 55.1% fat, and 28.2% CHO) in the evening as part of the diet. Measurements of lung function (forced expiratory volume in 1 s or volume of air exhaled in 1 s of maximal expiration, minute ventilation, oxygen consumption per unit time, carbon dioxide production in unit time, and respiratory quotient) and blood gases (pH, arterial carbon dioxide tension, and arterial oxygen tension) were taken at baseline and after 3 wk.
Results
Lung function measurements decreased significantly and forced expiratory volume increased significantly in the experimental group.
Conclusion
This study demonstrates that pulmonary function in COPD patients can be significantly improved with a high-fat, low-CHO oral supplement as compared with the traditional high-CHO diet.

I also replaced my SilverGen after 8 years with the newest model. There IS an advantage with the faster stirrer. With the old model at max setting there would be the agglomeration droppings at the bottom of the jar until you dial back to 3/4 PPM. It also had an overly strong metalic taste at that setting. I went half like you and everything was fine.
With the faster stirrer (I guess) you can go full ppm with no agglomeration and without the heavy metallic taste. I now make everything at full ppm for longer storing.
Bring someone in to check for mold. That's the first thing to rule out if other peeps in the household have the same problem. If you're renting, have the landlord pay for it. Usually you can find a company that will do the inspection for free. Renters insurance may pay for it. If you own the house your property insurance should pay it.
My 80 year old father paid $800.00 to Wei Labs and complained. They sent him more of their product that is made from product that can be gotten anywhere (per a pharmacist), and it still didn't work. I'm contacting the BBB in their area.
There's a link about nebulizing with iodine, but the info says not to use lugols, use magnascent iodine to nebulize. The potassium nebulized can be harmful, so the document says. If I can find the link again, I'll come back and post it.
iolite
[EDIT: I found the link that tells why you shouldn't use lugols to nebulize.
