I have dug around plenty in my time, with regards to "religion" in general. None of them feel like the whole 'truth' to me, although all of them have some small part of what I have since come to know as my own personal truth. And that is exactly how the illuminati do it. They pick some small part of the truth and include into the rest of the hogwash, to make it more 'believable' on a gut/intuitive level. Most people then can feel comfortable buying into the religion because it kinda feels 'right' and they don't have to bother thinking about what is 'right' any more. They can just plug into the formula and do what they are told and get a guarentee of heaven. But when I personlly run into something that requires 'faith' though, I pretty well know I am being scammed.

Also I think christianity caught on so well because there is someone who will forgive us our sins or whatever and talk to god for us so our imperfect self won't blow it for us for ETERNITY!! (notice how they amped up the urgency? WE gotta do it in this life time or hell awaits! What used car dealers!). We are certainly taught to need such an intercession because we are told time and again that we are 'born flawed', so of course when christainity just happens to have such an individual, well, by golly, we all better believe because he will get us a good deal on salvation! After all, he hung out as a half-man/half god for a little while and so surely understands our problems alot better than, say the Flying Spaghetti Monster or any other godly being.

The 'truth' however, that I have found in this issue is that we alone judge ourselves out there in the spirit realm, and for most people that is a hedious thought. We are much more likely to judge ourselves viciously and without mercy, and so having someone else do the judging part for us sounds pretty appealing, eh?

So while I hate to say it, he (jesus) doesn't judge us, nor does he intercede for us. That is just part of the hook line and sinker they use to get you under their control by hooking into our wishful thinking. All of us know on some level what it is like to die and be reborn, (because we all have lived and died a whole lot of times with some of us being burned at the stake or other less pleasent deaths for daring to remember) and all of us know on some level christianity is full of crapola but some of us really hope that maybe this time, with christianity, it will be different and better, and we won't have to hold ourselves accountable for all the dodo we did in this lifetime. I suspect part of why christianity is being so challenged now is because enough of us have come to realize it doesn't work, and so have moved on, but not without some lingering resentment at having been taken for such dupes time and time again.

And the PTB are out there in the spirit realm but they are not powers. It is way too easy to see their scams from that side of the mirror, so to speak.
