Re: I didn't ...

Thanks, I'm fine now as a result of having let go of a highly restrictive diet that wasn't working for me.

One of the things I value about curezone is its tendency to understand that there probably isn't any one-size-fits-all health answer for everyone. In contrast is the medical establishment, which approaches most problems with a one-size-fits-all drug and doesn't understand that one person's constitution and health needs are different from the next.

My experience with raw fooders has brought me contact with a surprising number of black and white thinkers who seem to be deeply offended by the idea that raw may not be optimal for every person who tries it. I've seen raw advocates tell people whose hair fall out (which isn't unusual) to wait and be patient because the new hair will grow in "more pure." I've seen people report that their teeth are growing translucent and soft after several years on the diet only to be told they must be lying, or didn't understand their teeth.

I have no problem with the idea of people going raw and having good results. I'm not sure why it's such a dramatic thing when people report going raw and not having good results. Like any other attempt at better health, it should probably be evaluated by how the individual's body responds to it.
