honey, are you willing to see this differently?
i think your only problem is that little nagging fearful voice between
your ears. other than that, you're doing very well. :)
when you said the following (below), you answered your own question.
of course, it sounds as if you want to magically make it so that you can
eat cooked foods and feel as good as you know do on raw, but is that logical?
I don't think so. if you were in nature, you would be eating like the
gorillas, apes, chimps, etc... you'd eat greens and fruits with their seeds
and leaves... that's how animals do it. they don't just daintily pick off
the fruit like we do. so if you want to eat raw, eat raw... if you want to
eat cooked foods and processed foods, just know that feeling less than
optimal goes with the territory. i knew at an early age that i would be
in the hospital a lot if i didn't take good care of myself. and i try from
time to time to eat like the rest of the world, but i can't. and i LOVE
greens now. i LOVE fruits and greens. i eat more seeds and nuts in the
winter, but not much now. and i am doing very well. i think our bodies
are perfectly designed to work perfectly on foods that nature provides.
forget the fear thoughts about cows stomachs and leather sofas... that's
bogus reasoning. you are not a cow. and you can eat much more than
grass and you're not eating a sofa. the body can get all it needs from
greens, fruits, seeds, nuts.
of course, someone here kindly asked you if you have
cleansed your colon. you may need to work specifically on that so
you get optimal absorption in your small intestine & colon. there are
many excellent
Colon Cleanses available. try one.
perhaps all you really need is some creative ideas for preparing the
foods that are good for you. you should NEVER deprive yourself. you
should never feel as if you are depriving yourself. this food is actually
the most luxurious diet imaginable. other people love blueberry muffins...
why? because blueberries are SO wonderful -- we get to eat bowls of
blueberries... bushes of blueberries. :)
i'm writing a book about how to make eating raw simple and
easy and fun, so hang in there!
love, patricia
following are YOUR words... read them again...
"The only time I even approached contentness is when trying to eat more like apes and eat only wild greens. Something like 98% of wild plants are edible. so I started experimenting. ... I found some very tasty plants that way. And actually learned later that some of them are known edible plants.
So I think a diet like that could work. Makes you alkaline really really strongly. Makes you feel great. Except that I think it is hard to get enough protein that way. some people will tell you that there is lots of protein in greens...
Now eating fruit like cucumbers and tomatoes seems to work well for me. A diet more like that plus sprouted almonds and maybe sprouted sunflower seeds, maybe that would work.
