Re:Complaining about foolish dietary choices!!
you know, grassman, it's far from easy -- letting go of the programming and getting back to our natural instincts and hungers. it took me many years of transitioning from this to that. i am grateful to be where i am... and yet there may be more to go.
there are so many misperceptions in our society about foods and health. most of our early conditioning involves some sort of commercial interest. it starts from day one. so many mistakes. so far from natural. we are fortunate to have survived. :) and yet, bodies are resilient and they will bounce back if we give them enough rest and tender loving care, and think thoughts that relax our bodies and digestive system, thoughts that do not make our bodies tense up.
let's face it, grassman... life in this world is pretty much upside down and inside out and backwards. there aren't many species in this world that eat as far from natural as we do. and those who do (domestic animals and zoo animals), get human diseases, just like we do.
the best approach to every physical complaint, i believe, is to ask ourselves, what DID i do to cause this condition -- and what CAN i do now to rectify it?
i find it fun and empowering to take charge, take responsibility, for my health and my experience of life.
best wishes!
