Glad you found your cure!

I've been dealing with SD for almost 10 years and sadly I haven't found any cure for me yet. I tried the Sea Salt a month ago and it just made the things worse. The salt dried my face completely, I washed my face at night with the salt but when I woke up the next day my face was covered with oil, my skin produced excess of sebum because the salt just dried it out. My affected area was even redder and very sensitive. I tried it again the next day but with the same results so I decided to quit, I didn't see any improvement in my skin and my face was producing oil the whole day even when I applied an oil-free light moisturizer. I usually keep my SD calm by washing my face with a gentle cleanser, then I spray it with thermal water and then I use an aloe vera gel to keep it moisturized, I don't use any product with alcohol or oil in it since both irritate the area. This is not a cure, my SD is triggered by anxiety and stress so there are times when my face is ok not completely clean but no itchiness or flares, but when I got anxious my skin reacts immediately, I just keep following my skin care routine until my skin gets better.
well this is my experience with SD and Sea Salt .
