How do I clean my hair? What shampoo? Do I use Sea Salt on my hair and won't it cause my scalp to get too dry? My hair is falling out a lot. I can't get it to stop. Please help.

I have been suffering with SD in my scalp for over 2 years. I have tried everything and nothing has worked. Until this. I started doing the treatment to my scalp once a day 3 days ago. Every single oil you mentioned i have tried as a matter of fact why was reading your post my head was slathered in coconut oil. I have a fungal infection that started on my ears and the back of my neck and has moved into my scalp and part of my chest and down my back. After getting out of the shower I can smell a musty smell on my head.

I've been dealing with this fungal infection for months with absolutely no results. After I tried this salt I had a little bit of relief. The rash is still there though, will continue and pray that this will be the answer to end it. I'm on the anti-Candida diet. I haven't seen in your results from that.

What do you suggest I use as shampoo for my scalp?

hi, this is fantastik. i never thot there could be this side of the story too. why doctors have done this research for the same - specially about using oils and creams and this gives food for yeast. and i know all this sounds very practical. i am suffering from this problem since last 3 years. can i use Sea Salt treatment on my back chest face and shoulders too. i have got itching and irritation issue lot on these areas.

I've been using the Dead Sea Salt on my husbands scalp for three weeks now and while it has improved slightly, it is definitely not gone. I just started mixing enough water with the salt to make a heavy solution that I apply to his scalp for three minutes. What might I be doing wrong or is there some way to use that would be better?

Bloody brilliant, I have been told it's a milk allergy and have avoided these products for 5 years now but gues what... Yep I still get it. Me thinking it's the food industry hiding milk in everything. Last summer me and my wife were in Croatia, I couldn't resist eating there pizzas and cheese as it was so damn good also couldn't resist a dip in the ocean EVERY day and guess what my derm went away. I thought it was sea water but never acted on it. Just been diagnosed by doc with seborrhoeic dermatitis and he told me herbal treatments are bull. Haha twaddle I am off to wash my hair in Normandy salt water :)

Ps I think the Adriatic is very salty or more salty than sea around uk maybe that's why it helped.

I think the cause for me is exercising, and the sweat and heat generated. The problem is I suffer from Depression and need to exercise to manage this. Have you heard of this? Any advice?
