Re: Re Re Re A whole lemon working better than ascorbic etc. C,
I'm glad you liked the vid. :Yeal, green veggies seem to be the best alkalizers of all. Too bad they don't taste so great (to me anyway.)
Celery is great in smoothies. It seems to help to put it in frozen.
By daughter makes essential oils and other products where you have to know a lot about ph balancing, plus she has always been a whiz on chemistry. When I talked this issue over with her today, she said some of the reported healings, like spider bites and mushroom poisoning, were probably due to AA because those maladies leave the body too alkaline.
She said, lol, "Anyone who is trying to get you to have diarrhea is not your friend."
Again, I am skeptical. Dr. Levy is pushing a book on C after all, and looking for personal promotions as a speaker and so on. I am quite sure many people have been helped, sometimes miraculously, by mega C. However, it seems they were in hospitals, or at least in clinical settings where all their vital signs were being checked out.
It's not as simple as it seems to me Levy is trying to make it, i.e. "Take all the Vitamin C you want! You can't overdose! Let me tell you how you can have a miracle for your health problems."
I think you can absolutely overdose. I think I did, though not to the point of having to be hospitalized or anything.
As I said before, I will take AA as much as I can get away with while staying alkaline.
