Re: Re Re Re A whole lemon working better than ascorbic etc. C,
Hello - Again we might want to discuss this elsewhere. I guess I'll wait and see if the moderator steps in.
Yes, deer change. People change. All life forms change. But we have been sold the idea change automatically proves evolution. It doesn't. Change only happens within limits. That is what the fossil record, in countless billions show, in spite of the spin that is put on them. That is what life forms all around us show. Countless dogs have been changed, for ex., for thousands of years. They all have stayed dawgs.
Farmers have been altering cows, pigs & tulips & bees etc. for
countless generations. They have all stayed cows, pigs, tulips & bees. Yes, they can even turn into new species. But speciation is not evolution either. 200 species of bees are still bees.
Check out some of Colin Patterson's quotes which are devastating to evolution. He was honest and he was the head paleontologist at the British Museum of Natural History. In a private letter to Steven Gould (both were evolutionists) he admitted that "There is not one water tight case for a transitional form." Yet we are told there are thousands of them.
There is no need to try to reconcile the idea of a Creator and evolution because evolution is pure pseudo science. It doesn't happen. Ever. It is all based on logical fallacies, especially but no way exclusively, the Correlation Does Not Imply Causation Fallacy, and based on assumptions presented as fact, convoluted sophistry and not infrequently outright fraud.
Let me give you just one example. Then I will give you some resources and let it go at that. There are more qualified people than me for you to check out.
Richard Dawkins said we came from bacteria, then onto things like algae, sponges etc. Is there any evidence for that? No, as is always the case in evolution the evidence says the exact opposite. We have fossilzed bacteria from the so called Cambrian period. (Btw, check it out. There is really no such thing as a Geologic Column with Cambrian, Devonian, Jurrasic etc. periods. That is purely theoretical, made up by a 19th century lawyer named George Lyell. He never saw one and no one else ever saw one either. But you will find tons of excuses for why it's never seen except on paper.)
We have examples of bacteria from at least 100 years ago. We have scientists and others looking at bacteria 24/7 365 days a year. Never, not once, has there been the slightest evidence that any bacteria at any time anywhere - and remember they are multiplying at staggeringly fast rates - has ever been or ever will be anything but a bacteria. Yes, some are more resistant to anti biotics than others. But the ones that thrive are still bacteria.
Yes, they found some bacteria that learned to eat nylon. So Nylonaise bacteria became a poster child for so called evolution. But it was still the same ol' bacteria it ever was and went back to eating regularly in a normal pond.
Ditto algae, sponges, etc. No one has ever seen them changing into non algae, non sponges etc. This info is just a scraping, not a tip, off the iceberg, of what you will find if you research the creation scientists.
Here are some resources. They are all pretty enjoyable to listen to. They do say they believe the Bible, but trust me they give scientific data way, way more than they ever mention the Bible. You will learn what evolution is really saying as they quote the evolutionists and certainly present their side of the argument before giving the argument for intelligent design.
If you are like me, you may have to listen to them more than once. At first it is hard to get past years and years of indoctrination and learn to critically analyze both sides.
Creation Facts of Life by Dr. Gary Parker, an award winning scientist's book. He used to teach evolution at the university level.
Expelled, a kind of funny but yet very serious movie showing how scientists are treated if they dare to question politically correct, self protective NeoDarwinian orthodoxy. It is on Youtube. All the following resources are on Youtube.
Don Patton on Fossils (really all of his vids on anything are great.) Spike Sparris - his vid on the Big Bang and others of his vids. He started out as an athetist working for the Navy in astronomy and saw that what he was being told was lousy science, really pseudo science.
Thermodynamic Evidence for Creation.
The vid on T Rex and the blood samples. Now some evolutionists are trying to say the blood samples and stretchy materials are
"biofilms." This is laughable. Biofilms form on things like dentures and plastic glasses. Ever hear of any of them developing blood cells? Some evolutionists say, in effect "Well, gee forensic
Science says such things can't last for 10s of million years. Guess forensic
Science was wrong all this time because under no circumstances could evolution be wrong!"
Oh yeal, there is Answersingenesis.org, probably the most despised site by evolutionists. They have a search bar where you can ask Qs. They have vids too. (I like vids!)
One of the biggest objections to a young universe is the problem of light speed. Dr. Russel Humphreys has some great vids and books and he is a world class cosmologist. He explains that light is really not what people think it is. Did you know, for example, that scientists have discovered that light is slowing down, not constant? There are so many fun things to learn about it.
If you go through those materials I can promise you that you will never see the world, the universe, or yourself the same way.
Have fun and best wishes.
