Re: Re Re Re A whole lemon working better than ascorbic etc. C,

Hi Lorica,

You are most welcome, and I am glad you have found the information of worth. It is a VERY personal thing, i.e. one's health practices, and obviously ascorbate does not appeal to everyone, e.g. in the Cancer Forum a few months ago, one poster got QUITE UPSET with my posting of this information!

I adopted a Rottweiler many years ago from the Humane Society, and that was [already] her name [so I kept it]. I did not know what it meant at the time, but did find out eventually. And yes, you are correct, it does mean "sweetheart," although I'm pretty sure it is spelled differently in German. As an aside, when I signed up at/for Curezone, it seemed they said I could not use my real name, so "shotsee" is what came to mind. Since I always sign my posts with my real name, I do not understand their prohibition. And, by-the-way, she was indeed a real "shotsee!"

And, by-the-way, ascorbic acid, as you might suspect, given its virtually universal application as a health modality, will, if you ingest enough, for a long enough period of time, bring your blood pressure down to a healthful level [virtually regardless of how huch sodium you ingest daily]. But that is, of course, IF you ingest ENOUGH ascorbic acid [daily].

The "tummy runblings" are all part of its VERY beneficial [IMO] GI tract cleansing effects, so I recommend you just keep the ascrobic acid ingestion at a level you are "comfortable" with. My experience is definitely that in time, as your GI tract cleans up/out, you will find you are able to ingest more and more, with less and less GI tract "inconvenience(s)" [not to even mention ever increasing good health]!

I do believe unreservedly, if you keep up with a Bowel Tolerance dose daily of ascrobic aCid, it will only be a matter of time before you are quite well from any and ALL health maladies you may be experiencing. It's all of those [extra] electrons that do "the trick!"

I suspect you are not nearly "sick" enough, Lorica, to have a 500 gram per day Bowel Tolerance, but the KEY is reaching WHATEVER your Bowel Tolerance level is, and persevering with that, i.e. as your GI tract cleans up/out, you will find your Bowel Tolerance [level/limit] going higher and higher. That allows you to ingest more and more of those UNIVERSALLY beneficial [to your health] electrons. I spend LESS than 5 minutes per day ingesting upwards of 100, 1,000 milligram tablets of ascorbic acid. I generally swallow 6 to 8 at a time, although I have swallowed up to 12 [at a time]. It is just not a problem, and I have NEVER understood people feeling that it was not worth the superb health it produces!

There are many people I am aware of, Lorica [Linus Pauling being one of them], that find what their Bowel Tolerance level/limit is INITIALLY [or soon thereafter], and then simply STAY at that level, increasing their dosage level only if and when they get "sick." I definitely do NOT recommend you make that [what to me is a clear] mistake [if you want EVER increasingly good health]. As far as I am concerned, the "cost," both in terms of time and money, is very small, particuilarly when compared with the [potential] benefits!

Thank you for the kind thoughts, Lorica, and I wish you a rapid healing and the very best of health.

Sincerely,

David
