Well we both agree that ascorbate C can do wonders for the health and that a healthy ph is 7.2 to 7.5. You are doing saliva testing, though, and I am doing urine testing for ph. From what I understand urine is the better check on ph.
Perhaps your urine ph stays normal at ultra high doses of ascorbate C too. If so, how wonderful for you. It definitely does not for me, though. Evidently my exoerience is fairly common, which is reportedly the reason people take sodium ascorbate - to buffer the acid effect of the ascrobate C.
Great for you if you have what works for you. Doesn't work for me though. Wish it did!
As for lemons they are a very healthy food source. I don't see that they are hurting me. I put them in a smoothie with other things and they add a nice zesty taste.
