Re: Re Re Re A whole lemon working better than ascorbic etc. C,
I'm so sorry you have been through all that. I guess you've already checked out the reasons for the pelvic pain. A physical therapist, not a doctor, told me why I was having some mild pelvic pain on one side. She said it was the result of giving birth and the spine getting slightly out of alignment, very common. An x ray revealed she was right, as the doctor then agreed. Of course you never gave birth so that can't be your problem. But indirectly I guess I am saying I hope you have gotten more than one opinion.
I do know this about pain, two things that can work, though whether in your case or not I don't know. No, 3 things.
White willow is what is in aspirin, but without the
additives that can cause stomach upset. Magnet therapy! Magnets are standard practice for some European doctors. You can get very cheap magnets by Googling Magnet Therapy. You have to get the kind that goes north side down on your skin.
I was having such bad pain in my right shoulder that it was interfering with sleep. MRI revealed a torn muscle. One injection (probably not a good idea anyway) helped, the 2nd didn't and neither did pain killer, ice packs etc.
But I got a quarter sized magnet, taped it with Nexcare onto the area of pain north side down. Within 24 hours the pain was better. In two days it was gone. I do still wear the magnet a lot. But it beats the heck out of surgery, which isn't always effective. I also use magnets to help with carpal tunnel - common with hypothyroidism. I have avoided surgery that way, too.
I guess you have heard of arnica gel or cream. It helps a lot to relieve pain. And then there is good ol'castor oil. The hexane free, organic, kind of course. I somehow sprained a knee at one time and that stuff rubbed in twice a day was wonderful.
You don't sound "deranged" to me. Maybe your body has had some problems, and we certainly want them to be fixed up well, but it is the mind and heart that are still the most important!
