Re: I am eating myself sick, and I want to stop!

bella I feel such harsh vibes from you. I'm only trying offer my advise from my research and personal experience. Just because you feel I am wrong doesn't mean you need to jump at me and bring up stuff I said a really long time ago that I shouldn't have posted.

There is a lot of close mindedness here imo. If it goes against like the Shelton books it's automatically an automatic NO, stick to shelton's program 100%. I think that isn't the most helpful thing. Many people have written books and fasted people who have slightly different methods.

I merely brought up the dieting study because when people restricted calories they made up for it afterwards. I do not recall exactly which book but an author also did talk about his experience with a ravenous appetite after fasting, as have I. And I merely brought up the diet study to give a bit of reenforcement that it is normal to be extra hungry when you've been losing weight. I do not feel that you can write that off as having nothing at all to do with fasting.

If fiber is so good 100% of the time and no matter what, than why would so many people advocate juice fasts (feasts, diets or w/e you wanna call it) and juicing. Anyways, that's just my opinion from all of my reading and experiences. I was just trying to offer advice. Instead of writing me off as wrong I would appreciate if you maybe accept my posts and just a conflicting viewpoint and another perspective on diet.

If you've never had a problem eating nuts and bananas then that's great for you. But I have read about many other's experiencing problems with many raw foods, especially nuts! I tried not to make it sound like I was saying nuts and bananas are poisonous, never eat them! Merely that it seems like they give me and others some problems. Gerson's therapy doesn't use nuts or seeds I think. I've read fasting books that they don't always recommend nuts and heavier raw foods. It's not like I am some crazy rouge crazy guy making a nut conspiracy.

This is a place for everyone to come together and share information and experiences. That's all I was doing. I feel like you come at me as if whatever I say is wrong no matter what I base it from (M.D. authors, studies and experiences).

The thread started asked if anyone else experienced eating themselves sick. I was trying to get across that many others do after restricting food intake. Is that so wrong? Bad energy from arguing too much is never good, I'm trying to get my viewpoints across as nicely as possible. I think we're all equals in world, it's not nice to treat me like what I say is worthless. I appreciate what you, fonty and chris have to say and like and respect you all. I consider you all to have accumulated a wealth of valuable information. But there are other valuable viewpoints out there imo.
