Re: FOR BELLA - a 'link'
Hi Nadia,
I referred to the eating of concentrated protein in an earlier post today.............
//www.curezone.org/forums/fm.asp?i=1197230#i
The most concentrated form of protein is meat, which requires enormous amounts of energy in digestion whether eating normally or not, (and especially if not properly combined), but where a fast has NOT been to completion, the digestive system will need time in re-nurturing its full state of vigour, so concentrated protein needs to be delayed somewhat in this case. How many days? In my own estimation about 5 to 7 days (or thereabouts) before eating any concentrated protein.
There are many vegetarian foods which will also supply the 8 essential amino acids which cannot be manufactured by the body (to make protein, and therefore the material that makes you what you are) that we need from outside sources, and are ideal to eat immediately post-fast of any length: i also referred to these in an earlier post of mine but cannot seem to locate it at the moment, but these foods are..........carrots, bananas, brussels sprouts, cabbage, cauliflower, corn, cucumbers, summer squash, sweet potatoes, and tomatoes.
However, after a fast has been to completion, with the return of genuine hunger, then this would not be the case; what is more important here, with this scenario, is the quantity of food which should not allow for over-eating.
Hope this helps.
