Potassium

Unless you have a clear reason to avoid potassium, I'd advise you to be careful with that one.  Not everyone with AF needs to avoid potassium or take extra salt, it's best to go by symptoms IMO.  I, for example, discovered years ago that I have some kind of problem holding on to potassium so I've had to take it daily, and if I eat too much salt I need more.  Low potassium aggravates my fatigue and depression, causes my heartbeat to slow down and become so faint I can hardly feel my pulse, I also feel queasy/nauseous and when I go to sleep my arms get numb and my nasal congestion becomest total so I get apnea attacks, I also tend to retain water, so if I blindly paid attention to the "salt dogma" I might've really hurt myself.
