I’m a bit lost too. I thought after the first couple of scab shedding that I would not see the scar, but it’s still there. I find that my skin and any blemishes or past blemishes respond well to fasting. I believe it’s more to do with the lymphatic system than hormones - but hormones play a big role. Coconut oil is supposed to be an especially good treatment, applied 2 or 3 times a day. H2O2 can be used as well (35%), but it has to be applied very carefully, it basically burns off scars and moles, is something used beside the iodine. Try applying URINE to your skin. I know it sounds weird, but uric acid is one of the main ingredients in many skin care formulations because the skin loves it. And there is a ton of it in urine, obviously. You don’t need to apply it everywhere, just pick a test spot, maybe a foot or a particularly troublesome patch. Keloid isn’t a chemical, it’s a sort of scar tissue that forms when there’s not the right sort of nutrients available to the body to form the right healing, and hormones are wonky. Keloid scar tissue is an ideal place to paint iodine. Hi folks, This is my first day trying the Lugol’s 3%. Twice a day applying to the wound and scar, I guess the total drops is 5-7. 3 times having the 3% with distilled water. 1st - using my finger to get the drop (1 finger I guess 0.5 drop) x a cup of distilled water. 2nd - 4 times of the ”finger drop” x 1.5 cup of water 3rd - just right before, I poured a little bit fo 3% with 2 ”finger drops”, I guess 4-5 drops of 3% with 3 cup of water. You might want to investigate something called ”black salve”. It is a blend of herbs which can remove or dissolve skin tags, moles, melanomas in about 10 days to 2 weeks time. It will not harm healthy tissue. I don’t know if it will do anything to a scar though. Try it and see. Do a search on YouTube for ”black salve”. I tried the DMSO/Aloe vera gel that I have. Mixed it with 3xGylcine, 2xproline,1xalanine,0.5 lysine, 1x ascorbic acid. I added enough xanthan gum to thicken it which was a fair bit. On trying it, it made the red indentation of the scar turn brown which looked like a scab, it filled the hole too which looked promising. Unfortunately it wasn’t a scab, it was just dried xanthan gum when it dried out. It washed away. Further tries got a sensation, the xanthan gum seems to be limiting the absorption. The scar seemed to become more red and noticeable after applying lugols iodine which apart from the thicker hair was the reason that I only did it once. Once is not really going to make all that much of a difference so cannot really be used as a guide IMO. I think for my purposes, DMSO and nutrients is the way to go. I have read an article, posted on curezone a long time back about using iodine on scars. It can cause quite a lot of hair growth. I tried lugols iodine on my nose scar only once with 7% solution and I noticed a thicker dark hair right by the scar which I am certain was not there before. You are not listening. I said to practice on another part of your body to gain experience and confidence. Do you have a mole or some other blemish to practice on? The skin does react by forming a scab that eventually falls off, leaving fresh new scar free skin. You did not follow my instructions. Google ”Lesion Iodine” or ”Mole Iodine” to learn more about the process. Do NOT paint around the scar! Paint only the scar and NOT the good skin surrounding it. Go back and re-read my original post. Thinking about it, I could mix a little DMSO with vit c and AAKG rather than mix it up on a spoon like I was doing. I have a few small ointment jars so I could spare one for that which would speed it up a little bit. The gel becomes very watery when mixed with vit c and it runs a lot which makes it difficult to use. I do have some Xantham gum which I purchased and I could try using some of that to give it a thicker consistency. The jars are tiny, 15ml so not much can be mixed in them but they are okay for testing purposes. I have mixed up some oils and I have been applying them more frequently than I was. I have the cure for you. First of all, do a google search of ”keloid scar iodine” to gain some confidence in the procedure. I removed a cancerous lesion from my arm using this procedure.
